To create a new Data Source and start up its design click on "New Data Source".



The Data Source designer will open up.

In case you already have an SQL script to run and do not need to design a query, you can skip directly to step 6 ("Manual refinement") and paste your script into the SQL editor windows.

Otherwise you can start the creation of your query through the designer beginning with the selection of the objects and fields for your "universe".

When you have finished your design, which means you are either in step 6 (Manual Refine) or 7 (Programmatic ETL), save the Data Source.
